Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Information System Security Officer (ISSO) requiring a SECRET clearance located in Vienna, VA.

The ISSO provides host-based security monitoring and administration using the DoD HBSS suite. Ensures systems comply with cybersecurity requirements and supports vulnerability management and incident response.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer HBSS modules (HIPS, DLP, RSD, PA).
• Monitor and analyze security alerts.
• Support vulnerability scans and remediation activities.
• Maintain compliance with FISMA, DoD, and Treasury policies.
• Generate and review HBSS security reports.
• Provide support during security inspections and audits.
  
  

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• Active Secret clearance (T-3).
• HBSS 201 Administrator and/or HBSS 301 Advanced certification.
• Experience administering McAfee ePO and HBSS modules.
• Knowledge of ACAS, SCAP, and NIST standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP or Security certification.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk).
• Knowledge of incident response best practices.
