Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Seamstress/Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment alteration and repair, with a strong focus on customer service. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide alteration services, including:
- Hemming pants
- Replacing zippers
- Taking waist in and out
- Shortening sleeves
- Tapering shirts, jackets, & pants
- Stripping pants
- Sewing on patches
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a seamstress/tailor
- Proficiency in using sewing machines, including:
- Straight stitch
- Overlock stitch (Serger)
- Blind stitch
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must speak English
