What will you be doing?

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused individual to fill a hybrid role that combines material handling, forklift operation, and packing responsibilities. This position is crucial to maintaining a smooth flow of materials between the warehouse and production, accurately preparing outbound shipments, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment during the swing shift. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on role.

Shift Details:

• Swing Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Must be available for occasional overtime or Fridays based on production needs.

Some of your day-to-day tasks?

Material Handling (40%)

• Move raw materials, components, and finished goods between storage areas, workstations, and production lines.
• Ensure correct materials are delivered to the right areas according to work orders and schedules.
• Stage materials for upcoming jobs and return unused material to inventory accurately.

Forklift Operation (30%)

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks, transfer inventory between departments or warehouses.
• Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain clear aisles and workspaces according to safety guidelines.

Packing & Shipping (30%)

• Pack finished products according to customer specs, using correct materials and labeling.
• Create and apply shipping labels, documentation, and part identification.
• Assist with palletizing, stretch-wrapping, and preparing shipments for outbound transport.
• Keep packing areas clean, stocked, and organized.

What do you need to be able to do?

• 1 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified upon hire.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and complete paperwork accurately.
• Basic computer or scanner experience preferred (ERP, barcode systems, etc.).

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Experience with ERP systems
• Previous cross-training across warehouse and production environments.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Exposure to forklifts, material handling equipment, and varying temperatures.
