Job Summary
The Warehouse
Associate – Serialization makes sure every product that leaves the warehouse
has its own unique, scannable code and is properly tracked from start to
finish. You’ll run the labeling machines, double-check every code, and connect
items to their boxes and pallets in the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Run print-and-apply machines that put unique barcodes/QR codes on bottles, boxes, bundles, cases, and pallets.
- Scan and “link” everything together in the system (these 12 bottles are inside this case, these cases are on this pallet, etc.).
- Check every code with cameras and scanners to confirm it’s perfect — pull and fix anything that isn’t.
- Upload all the tracking information into our system as soon as the work is done.
- Clear the line and reconcile counts at the end of every order to make sure nothing is missing or duplicated.
- Fix small issues like label jams, printer errors, or scanner problems; call maintenance for bigger ones.
- Reprint and re-stick labels when something gets damaged or won’t scan.
- Keep your area clean and organized between jobs.
- Help with cycle counts and inventory checks when needed.
- Follow all safety and quality rules every day.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience (experience with labeling machines or scanners is a big plus)
- Extremely accurate and great attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and handheld scanners
- Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to 40 lbs
- Basic troubleshooting skills with printers/scanners
- Reliable and flexible with schedule changes
Nice-to-Haves
- You’ve worked with serialization or track-and-trace before
- You already know how to “nest” items (connect bottles → boxes → pallets) in a system
- Experience with any traceability software
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Clean, climate-controlled warehouse
- Safety glasses, gloves, and other PPE when required
- Lots of standing, walking, bending, and reaching
