We are a Lehigh Valley, Greater Philadelphia, and Wilmington, DE based construction equipment rental business. Action Rental is looking to add a part time/full time Bookkeeper to our Allentown Office. This job would have flexible hours (approx. 20-30) and could be constructed to fit within a 7-5 Monday- Friday business week. There is potential for this position to grow into a full-time position.
Accounting experience:
Competency in Quick Books preferred
Understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and functions
Proficiency in MS office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, dependable, and responsible
Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
Responsibilities: Accounts Payable
Compile and sort invoices, receipts and packing slips
Match invoices to receipts and purchase orders
Research, track and resolve accounts payable invoice problems
Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable
Research and resolve customer invoices and payment discrepancies
Answer client inquiries regarding account transactions
Make soft collection calls
Coordinate with 3rd party collection agencies on delinquent accounts and follow up on status of claims
Maintain customer information and account status
New customer set up
Review credit applications for completeness and accuracy - retrieve credit report for review
Send daily invoices and monthly statements
Filing where necessary
Support Accounting staff with other business transactions and key activities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
