We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our dynamic physical therapy and sports performance gym. Responsibilities
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SATURDAYS.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Manage appointment scheduling using EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures to facilitate smooth billing processes.
- Handle medical records management, including filing, documentation review, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with medical billing and coding tasks, including CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and Medicare documentation requirements.
- Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently while practicing proper phone etiquette to address patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
- Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean, organized front desk area.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient intake processes and ensure accurate documentation review for care plans.

- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy and sports performance clinics.
