Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chiropractic Physician with specialized expertise in sports medicine to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, particularly those related to sports and athletic performance. The Chiropractic Physician will work closely with athletes to provide holistic, non invasive care aimed at improving movement, reducing pain, and enhancing overall performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform Thorough assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic tests to evaluate musculoskeletal conditions, sports related injuries, and overall spinal health.
- Develop treatment plans based on the needs of each patient.
- Administer chiropractic adjustments, manual therapies, and other non-invasive treatment techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and accelerate recovery.
- Guide patients through customized rehabilitation programs to promote long term wellness and injury prevention
- Provide specialized care for athletes recovering from sports injuries.
- Monitor recovery process and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive, mutidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Educate athletes on proper body mechanics, nutrition, injury prevention, and recovery strategies to optimize performance and reduce the risk of future injuries.
- Maintain accurate up to date records, documenting treatment plans, progress and outcomes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Experience
- A Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Proven experience in patient observation and assessment within a clinical setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques is necessary for effective treatment delivery.
- Designed individualized rehabilitation programs incorporating manual therapy, joint mobilizations, myofacial release, and corrective exercise strategies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are vital for interacting with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Ability to interpret medical imaging results and apply findings to treatment plans is crucial.
