Teacher - Head Start Program

As a Head Start Teacher, you'll inspire curiosity, celebrate milestones, and create meaningful learning experiences that help children discover their potential. You'll build trusting relationships with children and families while creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children can learn through exploration and play.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Foster school readiness and kindergarten readiness.
• Build positive partnerships with families.
• Observe progress and individualize instruction.
• Collaborate with your teaching team to meet Head Start Performance Standards.

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in another field with equivalent ECE coursework and preschool teaching experience.

• A passion for helping young children learn and thrive.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of child development.
• Positive relationships with children and families.
• Knowledge of Head Start standards or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills.
