Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Blade Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the completion of projects by ensuring that all finishing tasks are executed to the highest standards. This position requires a strong understanding of various machinery and equipment, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Hourly wage will be determined by experience.
Duties
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment including tankers, graders, water trucks, bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders.
- Perform finishing tasks on construction sites, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to build structures and complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct horizontal drilling operations as required for specific projects.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating heavy machinery such as tankers, graders, water trucks, bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to address equipment issues effectively.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining focus on individual tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is an advantage.
