Action Equipment Solutions, Inc (AES) specializes in the specification, design, building, and startup of automated equipment for manufacturing plants. AES is a control systems integration and factory automation leader for the Automotive, Food and Beverage, and Water and Waste Water industries in Central Kentucky as well as surrounding areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist. Must be self-directed and able to read detail / assembly drawings. Experience with conversational mills and lathes a plus. The machine shop includes machining parts to print with required tolerances, machine programing and set up.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Entry level machinist, strong math skills a must. The ability to set up and program CNC machines. Must have the ability to read blueprints, basic assembly knowledge, and be able to operate a bandsaw with the knowledge of the metric system.
Ability to travel as needed to customer sites for installs and modifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
