What You’ll Do:
Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with precision, ensuring timely collections to keep cash flow strong.
Reconcile accounts and prepare budgets, including Budget vs. Actuals reports, to support our growth.
Enter data accurately per Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Handle HR functions, such as onboarding paperwork and maintaining confidential employee records.
Safeguard our financial health by monitoring solvency, protecting our credit rating, and alerting executives to risks.
Uphold confidentiality of employee data, management decisions, and sensitive financial matters.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative, accountable team.
Maintain mathematical accuracy and resolve discrepancies with sharp analytical skills.
Who You Are:
Experienced: 5 years in accounting/bookkeeping, with proven expertise in A/R management.
Tech-Savvy: QuickBooks Online certification or mastery; strong Excel skills.
Trained: Formal accounting training (e.g., certificate, associate’s degree, or equivalent coursework).
Trustworthy: Impeccable record of honesty and responsibility.
Communicative: Professional, friendly verbal and written skills to engage with contractors, employees, and leadership.
Confidential: Committed to protecting sensitive employee and management information.
Growth-Oriented: Eager to pursue ongoing training to stay current (e.g., A/R best practices, QuickBooks updates).
Analytical: Skilled at problem-solving and error detection in financial records.
Leader: Able to manage, supervise, and, if needed, recommend disciplinary action for accounting staff.
