Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced part-time cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and residential spaces. Your attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and efficient cleaning techniques will ensure our environments are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
You will be working as part of a cleaning crew who travel from job to job together in a company vehicle and who complete all jobs together.
Shift times
Monday- Friday 8.30am start time (Some Monday's will be 7.00am Start time)- 11am- 1.30pm finish time (depending on job schedule for that day)
Saturday and Sunday- Some Saturday and Sundays will be required 7.00am- 9/9.30am
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Use custodial tools and cleaning equipment efficiently to complete tasks promptly and effectively.
- Conduct sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards in all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities by performing routine janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure personal safety and compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Experience handling chemical agents safely and knowledge of sanitation standards.
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or building occupants when necessary.
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of safety protocol adherence related to chemical handling and general custodial work is essential for success in this role.
