Action Auto Utah is looking for a motivated Lube Technician / Mechanic Apprentice to join our growing service department in Lehi, Utah. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in automotive repair while receiving hands-on training from a Master Technician with over 30 years of experience.

What You'll Do
As a Lube Technician / Mechanic Apprentice, you'll assist with routine maintenance and light mechanical repairs, including:
- Trade-In & Vehicle Inspections
- Perform trade-in inspections and re-inspections
- Identify maintenance and repair needs
- Complete inspection reports accurately
- Routine Maintenance
- Engine oil and fluid changes
- Fluid level inspections
- Engine, cabin, oil, and fuel filter replacement
- Windshield wiper replacement
- Spark plug replacement
- Brake & Suspension Services
- Brake pad replacement
- Rotor replacement
- Brake fluid flushes and bleeding
- Basic suspension inspections
- Wheel alignment basics
- Electrical & Engine Support
- Battery testing and replacement
- Alternator and starter testing
- Scan and diagnose basic vehicle issues using an OBD-II scanner
- Replace headlights, taillights, and fuses
Note: This position does not include tire mounting, tire balancing, or tire rotations.
What We're Looking For/ Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Must own an OBD-II diagnostic scanner
- Basic automotive knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous experience performing oil changes or basic vehicle maintenance
- Automotive school or vocational training is a plus (not required)
Training & Growth
You'll work directly alongside a Master Technician with more than 30 years of industry experience, gaining valuable hands-on training across a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
