Are you an experienced Auto Body / Collision Repair Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and doing the job right?
We are looking for an experienced technician to join our team in Missoula, MT. If you have strong collision repair skills, attention to detail, and take pride in your work, we’d love to talk with you.
Duties
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and automotive welding equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to restore vehicles to their original condition.
- Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, auto painting, refinishing, and detailing to ensure a flawless finish.
- Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, panels, and other components with precision.
- Apply fabrication techniques for custom repairs or modifications using sheet metal fabrication and soldering skills.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to collision repair, including auto restoration projects and working as an automotive body technician.
- Handle heavy lifting safely while working on complex repairs that require mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an auto body or collision repair technician with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, dent repair, and sheet metal work.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality in all repairs.
- Experience working with automotive parts installation, and automotive cosmetic repair is highly desirable.
