In Home Caregiver - PCA

The Caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks while promoting independence and well-being. This role requires empathy, patience, and strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and basic exercises as needed.
• Prepare meals and support clients with feeding, as required.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, cleaning, organizing).
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Follow care plans and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company and health regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Home Health Aide (HHA), or related certification preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience (professional or personal) strongly desired.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Compassionate, dependable, and excellent communication skills.
