Job Description

The medical assistant will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. The role supports clinicians and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating the patient population. Additionally, the medical assistant is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

Responsibilities

• Provide team-based patient care under clinician supervision.
• Support clinicians in assessing and managing chronic diseases.
• Examine and treat the patient population.
• Perform all laboratory testing procedures.
• Conduct phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 month experience in a clinic or back office healthcare setting.
• Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent certification prefered.
• Phlebotomy experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Coconut Creek, FL.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $41000.00/yr.
