What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Treatment Engineer position at Actalent?
Actively seeking a water treatment engineer. This engineer will conduct assessments of water treatment facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
-Evaluate and develop performance metrics for wastewater and greywater treatment processes.
-Create, manage, and execute water treatment projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
o Chemical Trials - Interpret data from trails to inform station of process improvements and O&M savings.
o RO Performance Improvements - Develop method to monitor RO performance, make and implement recommendations to improve performance.
o Review and revise Capital project plan for frequency of recurring projects such as filter media replacements, pump overhauls and collector well redevelopment.
-Provide operational support for water treatment facilities, including troubleshooting and optimization.
-Address gaps in water treatment processes.
Qualifications
-Associates or Bachelor's degree in technical field
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in water treatment
-Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, including chemical, physical, and biological methods.
-Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards related to water treatment.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
