Job Title: Validation Engineer

Job Description

The role of Validation Engineer involves supporting equipment, facility, and utility qualification activities, as well as requalification processes to ensure compliance with cGMP and quality requirements. The position requires assisting in the preparation and execution of Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols for equipment, facilities, and utilities, including related software. The engineer will support process validation and cleaning validation by providing product contact surface area, equipment qualification parameter ranges, and challenge test criteria to technical services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and execution of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for equipment, facilities, utilities, and related software.
• Support process validation and cleaning validation by providing relevant parameters and criteria.
• Conduct field execution of validation deliverables, resolve deviations, and author reports.
• Assist in maintaining validation process improvement projects.
• Author, review, and update appropriate SOPs.
• Generate and update supporting documentation, such as P&IDs and equipment specifications, according to pharmaceutical industry standards.
• Work within cross-functional teams and effectively communicate progress to team members and validation management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in equipment validation
• Knowledge of solid dosage manufacturing
• Understanding of cGMP requirements
• Facility qualification expertise

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science
• At least 1 year of experience in equipment validation
• At least 1 year of experience working in a solid dosage pharmaceutical company

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a team of 90 people onsite, including three members in the engineering team. The company recently moved to a new facility six months ago, providing an exciting opportunity to engage in new equipment and facility qualification projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $38.00/hr.
