Urgently hiring a Entry Level Sample Technician who will be working with lubricant samples. An ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or an Associates of Science degree with at least 6 months of shipping and/ or sample preparation experience.
Job Description
The Sample Technician is responsible for the intake, logging, preparation, and processing of samples, as well as maintaining the laboratory shipping area. This role ensures accurate sample management and efficient laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
- Scan reports and log samples by typing in and matching product codes in the sample management systems.
- Unbox samples, place them onto trays, and deliver them to the laboratory.
- Measure and weigh samples.
- Mix and batch samples.
- Operate basic laboratory equipment to initiate tests.
- Perform basic wet chemistry tasks.
- Fill test tubes, place them on a hot tray, and de-gas samples
- Maintain laboratory shipping area
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with sample preparation or shipping is preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- BACHELOR DEGREE IS OVERQUALIFIED
SHIFT: M-F 8AM-5PM
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
