Job Description
I’m working with a utility infrastructure company on a Field Technician role supporting electric distribution projects out of 📍Ashland, VA. You’d be collecting field data pole info, GPS locations, photos, measurements that feeds directly into engineering and design work for real utility projects.

- Entry point into utility power/infrastructure with growth path into design, engineering, or project coordination
- Stable, long-term utility-focused work
- Site visits capped at 2 hours from Richmond, VA — no long-haul travel
What they need:
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions, daily field travel
- Proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook
- 1-2 years electric distribution experience preferred (not required)
This is a Permanent position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
