Transmission Line Construction Manager

The Transmission Line Construction Manager is pivotal to the success of projects at a field level. Acting as the project quarterback, the Construction Manager bridges field operations and project management. The role involves significant computer work, alongside essential field oversight.

• Familiarize with all contract documents and contractor safety plans, ensuring they are read and understood.
• Conduct kickoff meetings to communicate job expectations to contractors.
• Host site-specific orientations and ensure compliance with permits, agreements, and safety plans.
• Lead and train teams effectively, ensuring compliance with site safety orientations and specific safety plans.
• Complete safety assessments and ensure accurate reporting through data collection and documentation.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with contractors, ensuring project engagement and safety.
• Ensure project quality by understanding specifications and drawings, and monitor project schedules.
• Track project progress, approve schedules, and monitor environmental constraints.
• Coordinate effectively during outages and crossings, ensuring both parties' responsibilities are met.
• Manage accurate data reporting and documentation to support change order disputes and project tracking.
• Utilize and manage additional resources, including environmental teams, material managers, safety teams, and subject matter experts, to ensure project success.

• Proven experience in construction, transmission, and management roles.
• Strong familiarity with contract documents and safety plans.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Experience in preconstruction management.
• Ability to lead site-specific safety orientations and manage safety assessments.
• Proficiency in tracking project progress and monitoring environmental constraints.
• Capability to coordinate outage and crossing activities.

The position begins in the Texas market, supporting projects in Fisher County, Texas. Opportunities may arise to transition to other projects upon completion. The role involves a blend of office and fieldwork, requiring adaptability to varying environments and conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Juno Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
