Tool Room Supervisor

This position oversees the tool room operations, involving hands-on mold repair and team leadership. The role is divided between 80% hands-on mold repair and 20% leadership responsibilities, including workload management, documentation oversight, and customer quoting for cost and materials.

• Oversee tool room operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Perform hands-on mold repair and maintenance.
• Manage workload and documentation processes.
• Provide quotes to customers regarding cost and materials.
• Lead and support a team, including a Mold Maker and a Tooling Engineer.
• Coordinate with external vendors as necessary.

• Expertise in mold repair and maintenance.
• Experience with plastic injection molding.
• Familiarity with hot runners, multi-cavity molds, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics.
• Knowledge of E-Dart systems (molds with pressure sensors).

• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
• Strong coordination and management skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fremont, CA.

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
