Test Technician

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Engineering Test Technician to support the development, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical and pneumatic systems. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth product development and manufacturing transfer.

• Assemble and debug pneumatic and electro-mechanical systems with precision.
• Support verification and validation activities, including writing and executing test protocols and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Improve manufacturing processes, including authoring assembly instructions.
• Assist engineers and other technical staff in debugging and optimizing system performance.
• Rework electro-mechanical parts and perform precision soldering as needed.
• Support Material Review Board (MRB) disposition and root cause analysis in production.
• Identify and assist in second sourcing of off-the-shelf components.
• Collaborate with Operations to support the manufacturing transfer of new products.
• Maintain and organize lab spaces, tools, and equipment for efficient workflow.

• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field OR equivalent technical training and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, debug, or hardware prototyping.
• Proficiency with soldering (through-hole and surface mount).
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

• Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
• Familiarity with pneumatic system components and testing tools.
• Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure sensors.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with document control systems or electronic lab notebooks.

This position requires onsite work supporting R&D and Manufacturing Teams. The role provides an opportunity to work closely with development and operations teams in a dynamic environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,MN.
