Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for systems and networking queries. You will play a crucial role in supporting RESTful API integrations, configuring remote SQL databases, and offering exceptional IT service to employees. You will be the bridge between local users and the network environment in Switzerland, ensuring smooth communication and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for incoming systems and networking queries.
• Support RESTful API integrations by interpreting documentation and setting up simulation environments.
• Configure remote SQL databases and remote backup solutions.
• Deliver exceptional IT service to employees and resolve their support needs.
• Serve as the intermediary between local users and the local network environment in Switzerland.
• Prioritize workflow between external and internal employee requests effectively.
• Maintain excellent communication and response times for issues.
• Document solutions by developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Communicate complex computer problems to Tier 3 Swiss IT Support.
• Collaborate productively with other IT team members.
• Coach users on computer-related issues.
• Configure, install, modify, and maintain computers, laptops, and peripherals.
• Utilize software/hardware tools to diagnose computer problems.
• Connect PCs to Local Area Networks (LAN) and resolve network issues.
• Administer user accounts in Active Directory, Azure, and other systems.
• Maintain an organized inventory of IT hardware and coordinate with purchasing for supply stocks.
• Perform onboarding and off-boarding for employees.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Windows, networking, API, JSON, SQL, LIMS, Virtualization, Active Directory, Azure, HTTP, troubleshooting, customer service, and scripting.
• Four-year degree in computer information systems, computer science, or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in information technology.
• Stable work history and employment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Current information technology certifications are a plus.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting (Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a pleasant demeanor.
• Thorough understanding of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and current technology trends.
• General knowledge of network domains, VLANs, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SQL, and JSON.
• Experience in managing IT projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong data management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, MA.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Franklin,MA.
