Job Title: Survey Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic Survey Department in Myrtle Beach, SC, as a Survey Technician. We seek individuals with surveying experience and the ability to prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD. This role involves working on boundary, topographic, ALTA, and wetland surveys.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate drawings using AutoCAD.
• Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA, and wetland surveys.
• Read and interpret plats, deeds, easements, and plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson Software for survey tasks.
• Perform office-based survey work using total station and Topcon equipment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with preference for Civil 3D and Carlson Software.
• Experience in ALTA, topographic, boundary, wetland, and construction surveys.
• Ability to read and interpret plats, deeds, easements, and plans.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads is a plus.
• Knowledge of surveying practices and procedures in both field and office settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Fridays. Occasionally, additional hours may be required. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
