Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgery Scheduler to join our team. This role involves managing front office operations and scheduling surgeries with a focus on providing exceptional patient service. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
Responsibilities
- Check patients in and out patients upon appointment.
- Assist patients with next steps and follow-up procedures.
- Perform insurance verifications.
- Collect copays and balances from patients.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in front office or surgery scheduling roles.
- Experience with surgical specialties.
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling, administrative support, and medical reception.
- Knowledge of EMR systems.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient access procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual skills in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Mandarin are a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Work Environment
The position is based in the Pearland Home Clinic, with one day of travel to Kingwood on Mondays. Mileage will be reimbursed. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will report directly to a supervisor, with two weeks of training provided before transitioning to independent work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
