Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee the daily operations on our construction sites. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate teams and resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular site inspections to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Lead and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and financial goals.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project managers, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and compliance documentation.

• Proven track record as a Superintendent in the construction industry with a strong understanding of project management.
• Expertise in construction processes, materials, and safety protocols, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Strong analytical skills to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with project management software and digital tools for scheduling and reporting.
• OSHA certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus.

• Experience working on healthcare projects and/or manufacturing, clean rooms, biopharma.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with high-end, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Procore, and Sage software.
• Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and take-offs.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $500k to $20M, with a focus on $3-5M projects.

The work schedule is from 7am to 4pm. Work sites are located in Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. Work will be split between the company's headquarters and worksite locations. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilton, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
