Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee high-volume residential construction projects, including multi-family and duplex developments. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to determine project requirements.
• Set performance goals and deadlines to ensure project milestones are met.
• Plan and manage construction processes effectively.
• Estimate project costs and work diligently to keep the project within budget.
• Supervise staff, provide constructive feedback, and ensure team productivity.
• Monitor and report on project progress regularly.
• Plan inspections and secure construction permits from local authorities.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality guidelines on-site.
• Order necessary equipment and arrange for regular maintenance.
• Keep track of material stock and coordinate orders efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly job site.
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies promptly.

• 4 years of experience working on ground-up construction projects as a superintendent.
• 2 years of experience with wood-framed ground-up construction, preferably in multi-family, hotels, or assisted living projects, or having managed 10-20 single-family jobs independently.
• Proficiency in using construction software such as M.S. Projects, PlanGrid, ProCore, or similar.
• A stable job history with at least 2.5 years at each employer.
• Proven experience in independently managing construction projects.

• Experience working with a sister company for lumber materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

This position operates primarily from a construction trailer on-site. The role involves local travel to project sites located in Olathe and near Zona Rose. Benefits include a truck allowance based on experience ($500-$650), a company-provided cell phone and laptop, holiday pay, and two weeks of paid time off.

This is a Permanent position based out of Olathe, KS.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
