A rapidly growing, well established construction and engineering firm is seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to lead commercial projects across Central Connecticut. This is a stand alone field leadership role with strong Project Manager and Project Engineer support and clear opportunity for long term growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee all on site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout

• Lead subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and site logistics

• Act as the primary on site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and consultants

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, permits, and scopes of work

• Plan daily work and maintain short term schedules including 3 to 4 week look aheads

• Enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements

• Maintain daily field reports and documentation using Procore

• Champion jobsite safety and OSHA compliance

• Coordinate inspections, testing, and closeout activities

• Proactively identify and resolve field issues in partnership with Project Management

What We’re Looking For

• 5 or more years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role

• Strong commercial construction background with projects valued at 2 million dollars or more

• Deep understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and logistics

• Ability to confidently read blueprints and technical documentation

• OSHA 30 certification

• Experience using Procore for project documentation and reporting

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Central Connecticut

Nice to Have

• MS Project scheduling experience

• Mechanical or renovation project background

• Experience leading projects valued at 5 million dollars or more

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainville, CT.

The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $67.00/hr.
