Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a project manager and principal in charge, contributing to structural design, modeling, and field investigations. You'll collaborate closely with staff and partners, gaining hands-on experience in both office and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural design tasks under supervision.
• Support CAD and Revit modeling efforts guided by senior staff.
• Supervise drafting and perform backchecks of technical work.
• Conduct structural assessments, damage investigations, and prepare technical reports.
• Design structural repairs based on field findings.
• Participate in site visits (15% of time) in the Central FL region using your personal vehicle.
• Perform light physical tasks including climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and carrying up to 20 lbs of equipment (provided by client).

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit and RAM Structural.
• Experience in structural engineering and design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration.
• E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) certification.
• Completion of Steel and Concrete Design courses.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in damage investigation and forensic engineering.
• Ability to write detailed technical reports.
• Comfortable engaging with team members, mentors, and handling 15%-20% travel to job sites in Central FL.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kissimmee, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
