About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Structural Designer to join our growing, high‑energy team. In this role, you’ll be hands‑on with a wide range of residential and light commercial projects—from custom single‑family homes to structural repairs, renovations, and new construction.

You’ll play a vital part in evaluating existing site conditions, producing high‑quality structural designs, and collaborating directly with clients, contractors, and seasoned professional engineers. If you want meaningful project exposure and a clear pathway for growth, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct site walk‑throughs and field assessments to document existing structural conditions
• Perform structural analysis and design for custom residences, renovations, repairs, and new construction
• Prepare detailed and accurate structural drawings using AutoCAD
• Conduct inspections and phase‑based construction observations to verify compliance
• Collaborate closely with clients, team members, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)
• 1–4 years of structural engineering experience, ideally in building design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Hands‑on experience with design in:
  • Structural steel
  • Cold‑formed steel
  • Lumber/wood framing
  • Masonry
  • Aluminum
  • Concrete foundations & retaining walls
• Experience conducting structural analysis and performing onsite evaluations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Highly Valued)

• EIT certification
• Master’s degree
• Experience with structural software such as RISA 3D and RAM

This is a Permanent position based out of Brookfield, CT.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Company offers, 401k match, 3 weeks PTO, quarter bonuses and 75% medical benefits.

This is a fully onsite position in Brookfield,CT.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 31, 2026.
