Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in nuclear power plant modification projects. The ideal candidate will perform Owner Acceptance Reviews and fulfill Responsible Design Engineer duties to support the Capital Extended Power Upgrade project. A Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform Owner Acceptance Reviews for nuclear power plant modification projects.
- Fulfill Responsible Design Engineer duties for the Hatch Capital Extended Power Uprate project.
Essential Skills
- 5-10 years of experience in nuclear power plant modification projects.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and engineering.
- Experience in design review processes.
- Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear power engineering principles.
Work Environment
The position is on-site at Plant Hatch. Candidates will work in a highly technical and collaborative environment, engaging with state-of-the-art technologies within the nuclear power sector.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Baxley, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
