Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

This individual will assist the team in addressing backlogged work on newer products. The main focus is to understand SolidWorks and its functionality, and to perform assembly/welding fixture design, as well as design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SolidWorks for various design tasks.
• Design assembly and welding fixtures.
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with the team to address and manage backlog work.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of SolidWorks experience.
• Proficiency in assembly fixture design.
• Proficiency in welding fixture design.
• Experience in design for manufacturability.
• Knowledge of FEA analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment

The work environment includes using SolidWorks and other design software to create and optimize designs. The role involves close collaboration with a team to manage and complete backlogged tasks. The dress code is casual, and the work may involve regular hours with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
