Job Description
- We are seeking a Service Manager to oversee the Technicians and assist in managing the daily operations of the Service Department within a commercial and industrial HVAC company.
Responsibilities
- Schedule service calls and manage technicians.
- Handle customer requests and oversee billing.
- Create estimates and maintain inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate dispatching, scheduling, and provide customer coordination and technical support for field technicians.
- Assist in ordering and tracking parts, tools, and equipment.
- Support the scheduling of subcontractors.
- Provide technical support and training for service technicians.
- Develop training programs and review technicians' needs and requests.
- Enhance customer relations and communication.
Essential Skills
- Experience in HVAC service, particularly in commercial settings, with a minimum of 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems and service.
- Ability to develop and implement training programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher is preferred.

- The work environment consists of 70% office-based work and 30% fieldwork, providing a dynamic and engaging setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
