  • Balance inventory levels, cost targets, and delivery requirements to support production while minimizing excess stock and stockouts.
  • Leverage data analysis to identify trends in material usage, supplier performance, and inventory metrics, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Optimize inventory performance by monitoring key indicators, adjusting purchasing strategies, and supporting initiatives that reduce inventory risk and cost.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for savings, negotiating with suppliers, and recommending alternative sourcing options where appropriate.
  • Analyze complex supply chain data and present clear, concise findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts in procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control to enhance overall factory performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve material availability issues, expedite critical orders, and maintain smooth production operations.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with requirements for medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments, as applicable.
  • Use SAP and related systems to manage purchasing transactions, maintain accurate records, and generate reports that support decision-making.

Essential Skills

  • Working knowledge of SAP for purchasing and inventory-related activities.
  • Familiarity with APICS concepts or frameworks related to planning and supply chain management.
  • Ability to analyze supply chain and inventory data to identify trends and develop insights.
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturing, planning, and supply chain teams.
