Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, testing, validating, and deploying Business Intelligence solutions, including reports and data visualizations across various business areas. This role supports the enterprise data warehouse and other reporting applications, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency to produce high-quality reports and visualizations that facilitate data-driven business decisions. The analyst ensures that solutions are secure and conform to privacy standards, determines the best data sources for reports, and provides user support for functional and technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Business Intelligence solutions, such as reports and data visualizations.
• Support enterprise data warehouse and other reporting applications.
• Ensure data accuracy and efficiency for high-quality reporting and visualizations.
• Ensure reporting solutions conform to security and privacy standards.
• Determine best data sources and recommend reporting tools for maximum efficiency.
• Provide support to users and evaluate functional and technical problems.
• Participate in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of data catalog/discovery tools.
• Update job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional reading.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Power BI, Zeenea, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong skills in data visualization, Crystal Reports, and SQL queries.
• Experience in enterprise reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to gather requirements and turn them into actionable insights.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Four-year degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college.
• Minimum four years of experience in query design/report design/data visualization.
• Working knowledge of utility enterprise systems, including ABS, CIS, OMS, AMI, and MDM preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet project expectations and timelines.
• Discretion when working with sensitive data.
• Basic knowledge of utility business processes preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $123500.00/yr.
