Project Controls Specialist – On Site in Birmingham, AL

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all Primavera project schedule and cost-related updates throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
- Interface with engineering, construction, planning, project management, and other transmission partners to verify updated Primavera schedule, resource, and cost information.
- Conduct and lead project schedule baseline review meetings with team members.
- Analyze project progress and provide recommendations on forecasted costs.
- Maintain estimated costs in Primavera.
- Perform final project assessment to ensure compliance with PCG standards.
- Assist in developing metrics and measures for the TE&PS project portfolio.
- Participate in the development of project control standards and guidelines.
- Ensure planning, engineering, construction, and project management teams follow PLMP processes.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (ABET accredited) in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Business.
- 4 years of experience in scheduling or project controls in construction.
- 4 years of experience using Primavera P6.

This is a Permanent position based out of Birmingham, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
