The position combines hands-on SAS statistical programming with clinical systems setup and migration activities, providing comprehensive support for implementation across the Clinical Data Repository, Statistical Computing Environment, and Metadata Repository. You will play a key role in testing and validating end-to-end workflows, evaluating and updating business processes, and ensuring accurate, compliant migration of clinical data into a new GxP-compliant environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration of clinical data from the legacy system to the new platform in a GxP-compliant environment.
- Perform day-to-day SAS statistical programming activities to support Biostatistics and Data Management needs.
- Assist with system setup and configuration for the Clinical Data Repository, Statistical Computing Environment, and Metadata Repository.
- Test and assess end-to-end workflows from source data through analytics and regulatory submission.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities to ensure system and data quality.
- Evaluate and help update business processes related to clinical data management and statistical programming workflows.
- Collaborate closely with study teams, Biostatistics, Data Management, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant data transfer.
- Help define and follow data migration processes and best practices to ensure correct and efficient execution.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for the new environment after go-live.
- Contribute to documentation related to migration activities, validation, and system configuration as needed.

- Completed bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Ideal total experience range of 5–7 years in clinical statistical programming.
- Hybrid background that combines strong SAS programming with systems and migration work.
- Ability to operate on both the functional side (working with study teams and business processes) and the technical side (systems, data flows, and configuration) of migration projects.
- Experience with business process evaluation and optimization in clinical data and programming workflows.
- background in clinical research, including familiarity with clinical trial data structures and standards.
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements during large-scale system implementations.
- Interest in long-term involvement beyond the initial migration, including post-go-live support and continuous improvement.
This is a fully remote position with an expectation to work Eastern Standard Time hours, including availability for meetings that may start as early as 7:00 AM EST. You will work within modern clinical data and statistical computing environments, including a Clinical Data Repository, Statistical Computing Environment, and Metadata Repository, as part of a GxP-compliant infrastructure. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact system migration project with long-term potential beyond the initial implementation, including ongoing post-go-live maintenance and support.
