We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Safety Specialist to support and promote safe work practices across our operations. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations for work involving rigging, millwrighting, sanitary piping, and engineering activities. The Safety Specialist will conduct site inspections, deliver safety training, and partner with field teams to foster a strong safety culture across multiple job sites, with regular regional travel.
Responsibilities- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Deliver safety training to employees across various job sites.
- Promote and support safe work practices in all operations.
- Partner with field teams to foster a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations for rigging, millwrighting, sanitary piping, and engineering activities.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in industrial or construction safety.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel regularly to job sites (potentially 1 week a month).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- OSHA 30 certification or additional certifications (e.g., CHST, CSP) a plus.
Frequent travel to industrial job sites is required, with exposure to construction and manufacturing environments. The company offers a small, family-like atmosphere with low turnover.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emigsville, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
