Safety Manager

We are seeking a full-time Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Manager to join a newly awarded, confidential data center construction project in Cheyenne, WY. This role is fast-paced and offers a significant opportunity for career advancement, with interviews starting immediately. The EH&S Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of the construction site by working closely with project leadership, client representatives, and field teams.

• Manage and oversee all EH&S programs for a large, active data center construction site.
• Serve as the primary safety contact on site, interacting directly with the client’s on-site representative.
• Conduct site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.
• Monitor jobsite conditions and worker activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Issue observation reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support and collaborate with the Superintendent and project team.
• Attend weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings.
• Enforce safety expectations with professionalism and appropriate assertiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to EH&S activities.

• 8 years of EH&S experience in construction environments.
• Strong working knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
• Experience working directly with project leadership and client representatives.
• Data center or mission-critical project experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual capability is highly preferred.
• Experience with steel erection and electrical work is highly preferred.

• Strong data center experience on large, complex projects.
• Ability to work within a local Fort Collins team with national contractor support.

The position is based on an active construction site in Cheyenne, WY, with open field conditions. An office trailer with a dedicated indoor workspace is provided. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with 10-hour workdays and the possibility of working Saturdays based on project needs. Employment is on an hourly contract basis, with the potential for overtime and future long-term opportunities for strong performers. Equipment such as a laptop, iPad, and cell phone will be provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Collins, CO.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
