Job Description

The successful candidate will work with a dedicated team to complete complex projects for ODOT and LPA clients, including new roadway design, EER studies, interchanges, and roundabouts. Responsibilities
- Design roadway projects for ODOT and Local Public Agency clients.
- Create and review project design calculations, quantity takeoffs, specifications, plans, and contract documents.
- Collaborate within the Transportation Team, assigning responsibilities.
- Manage project schedules and budgets efficiently.
- Apply ODOT design manual and engineering principles to highway design.
- Utilize OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D software according to client standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate groups.
- Attend client meetings and site visits, with occasional overnight travel up to 10% of the time.
- Proficiency in OpenRoads and Civil 3D.
- Extensive experience in roadway design and transportation engineering.
- Experience with MicroStation ORD & Civil 3D.
- 5-10 years of experience in roadway/transportation design.
- Experience working on ODOT and LPA roadway projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT or PE license.
- Experience managing projects for ODOT or LPA clients.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
