Job Description
A Registered Nurse (RN) I works under general supervision to provide the highest quality of care to patients in a hospital setting. The role involves addressing health issues ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting.
- Educate patients about health management and procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient electronic health records.
- Conduct telehealth sessions and triage patients as necessary.
- Deliver acute care and manage care plans for patients.
Essential Skills
- Strong written, typing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Active RN License in the state of Oklahoma.
- Experience with appointment scheduling and electronic health record management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 1 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
Work Environment
The work environment is a hospital setting where the RN will engage with a diverse team and patient population. The role requires adaptability to various health issues and the ability to provide care through both in-person and telehealth services.
