Job Title: Electrical Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our team. This role is crucial in designing and drafting electrical systems for modular panels and mezzanines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical design principles and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD 2D.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD 2D.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop accurate electrical layouts for modular panels and mezzanines.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
• Understand and apply Bill of Materials (BOM) knowledge.
• Revise and update existing electrical drawings as needed.
• Maintain organized documentation of electrical designs and revisions.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD 2D for electrical drafting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with manufactured products or construction.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations.
• Associate degree or certification in electrical drafting or a related field.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote. The role requires travel to a plant in Georgia for 2-3 weeks of training when starting. The work involves 60% electrical schematics and technical drawings and 40% desk work, including communication with customers and vendors. There are three different product lines that drafters could be assigned to: knock down, ballistic, or panels. The opportunity for growth is present, with a possible route to the engineering team. This is a contract-to-hire position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $39.00/hr.
