Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Research Associate Scientific I to join our team. This is an onsite position with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm. You will be responsible for conducting critical chemical and physical analyses on finished product RD stability samples and may also support testing of raw materials and final product samples from manufacturing facilities or other RD initiatives. You will work under minimum supervision while maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with company SOPs and regulations.
Responsibilities
This is an onsite position requiring the ability to handwrite and use computers for most of the workday. The role involves transferring materials, mixing solutions/products, opening products, and performing laboratory testing, which may require standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds routinely and must not be color blind. The work is subject to hazards, including exposure to chemicals and drug products. Penicillin and Cephalosporin-containing products and/or materials may be present in the laboratory.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

You will work under minimum supervision while maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with company SOPs and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct critical chemical and physical analyses on finished product RD stability samples.
- Support testing of raw materials, initial in-process, and final product samples from manufacturing facilities or other RD initiatives.
- Perform chemical assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of chemistry principles.
- Complete all testing, including special project/protocol testing, in a timely manner to meet project schedules.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA cGxP, and QSR regulations.
- Collaborate with other functions/departments to solve problems, increase efficiency, improve quality, and provide product support.
- Use sophisticated laboratory instrumentation (HPLC, pH, UV titrations, Particle, TOC, Flame photometry, etc.) and computer systems to collect and record data.
- Follow, understand, and comply with SOPs and policies on cGMPs and safety.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab area, and potentially ensure that others do the same.
- Maintain laboratory safety requirements, perform equipment maintenance/calibration, and troubleshoot instrumentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biology) with at least 6 months of experience.
- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical chemistry instrumentation experience with pH, UV titrations, Particle, TOC is preferred.
- Electronic Lab Notebook experience is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical GMP laboratory experience is desired.
- Empower experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and in a timely fashion.
- Relevant laboratory/technical writing and computer skills.
- Ability to organize and communicate complex information effectively with managers and peers.
