Job Description
This role involves driving and supporting reliability and continuous improvement efforts throughout the company using data systems. The position is split between Middlebury, IN, and various other sites across Arizona, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Nebraska. Travel is typically required 1-2 times a month, generally for two days at a time.
Responsibilities
- Develop best practices and standards for the company.
- Coach and teach principles to the plant staff.
- Make decisions or lead projects to align with corporate strategies.
- Implement technology utilizing Oracle Cloud and SCADA data systems to enhance plant performance.
- Utilize data to debug processes and improve efficiency.
- Evaluate new assets, assess efforts and risks, and create solutions to mitigate risks and failures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (such as IE, EE, ME).
- 2 years of experience in continuous improvement, process, and strategic problem solving.
- Proficiency in using data to drive change and align with corporate strategies to lead improvement projects.
- CMPP certification.
- Greenbelt certification.
- MLT certification.
- Experience with Oracle.
- Knowledge of regulatory processes.
The work environment is a large manufacturing facility that produces sheet metal for shelving units. The facility is older with some noise due to fabrication and manufacturing lines. Engineers will primarily work on the floor alongside production support. The company offers a flexible work schedule, casual dress, and a laid-back atmosphere. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr.
