Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. This role involves working on-site in Lake County on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. A key component of this position is to ensure that regulatory planning information is accurate and readily available for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Experience with MS Project is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute assignments that ensure complete and accurate regulatory planning information is readily available for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Serve as a key member of the Regulatory Portfolio Management core team responsible for enhancing and maintaining planning and reporting systems.
- Assist Enhancement Leads in triaging and dispositioning enhancement requests.
- Partner with Regulatory Strategic Planning colleagues to capture large datasets and prevent backlogs.
- Update ongoing regulatory plans to align with improvements made to planning templates.
- Support relevant complex and/or cross-functional initiatives as needed.
- Lead or co-lead straightforward departmental process improvement activities.
- Generate regulatory planning metrics reports and address other system-related needs.
- Assist in system-related training and updates to training material and logistics.
- 2 years of pharmaceutical or industry-related experience.
- Experience working in a complex and matrix environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with and understanding of software tools.
- Keen awareness of cultural nuances and proven ability to work in a global environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- RAC Certification from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).
- Higher education and/or RAC certification may compensate for years of experience.
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs and/or Project Management preferred.
- Understanding of global regulations.
The role is based on-site in Lake County with workdays on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The environment is dynamic and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams. A dress code is not specified, but professional attire is generally expected in such settings.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $41.00/hr.
