Registered Land Surveyor

Oversee the daily operations of land surveying projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with field crews and office personnel to execute boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, control, and construction surveys. Review and ensure the technical accuracy of survey deliverables, including plats, legal descriptions, calculations, and staking documentation. Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, promoting adherence to industry best practices and technical standards. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and, preferably, Trimble Business Center for data processing and drafting. Participate in client engagement, proposal development, and business development activities to support growth of the surveying practice. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery.

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (RLS) in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in land surveying.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, legal frameworks, and field-to-finish workflows.
• Experience managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and invoicing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated success in client development and expanding professional services.

• Experience with Trimble Business Center is a plus.

The position involves working closely with field crews and office personnel, utilizing advanced surveying technologies such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center. This is a Permanent position based out of Brentwood, TN.

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
