Job Title: Registered Land Surveyor
Job Description
Oversee the daily operations of land surveying projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with field crews and office personnel to execute boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, control, and construction surveys. Review and ensure the technical accuracy of survey deliverables, including plats, legal descriptions, calculations, and staking documentation. Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, promoting adherence to industry best practices and technical standards. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and, preferably, Trimble Business Center for data processing and drafting. Participate in client engagement, proposal development, and business development activities to support growth of the surveying practice. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (RLS) in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in land surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles and legal frameworks.
- Experience managing projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to mentor staff.
- Demonstrated success in client development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Trimble Business Center is a plus.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment
The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with both field crews and office personnel. The use of technologies such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center is essential. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
