Job Title: Quality Specialist

Join a growing Quality team where you'll play a key role in maintaining food safety, GMP compliance, and manufacturing quality standards. This highly visible position offers a mix of hands-on floor support and investigation work, partnering closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify issues, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and support environmental, hygiene, and GMP programs throughout the facility
• Investigate quality events, deviations, and environmental monitoring findings
• Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
• Conduct routine GMP audits and manufacturing floor inspections
• Document investigations, findings, and quality improvement activities
• Partner with QA Technicians, Engineers, and Operations teams to resolve issues
• Support pest control, zoning, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs
• Contribute to SOP updates and quality system improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related life science field
• 2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience within food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving, investigation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience
• HACCP and/or PCQI certification
• Experience with environmental monitoring programs and pathogen control
• Knowledge of sanitation, hygiene, zoning, and prerequisite programs
• Understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, and food safety systems
• Strong coaching and relationship-building skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eau Claire, WI.

The pay range for this position is $32.21 - $35.58/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
