  • Evaluate nonconforming material, coordinate disposition activities, and document investigations and dispositions in line with Quality System requirements.
  • Participate in assembly line validations by collecting objective evidence, documenting results, and supporting the approval process.
  • Maintain operator training records and verify that personnel are qualified and appropriately trained before they perform assembly tasks.
  • Issue quality alerts to production personnel in response to complaints and nonconformances to prevent recurrence of issues.

  • Identify and communicate work instruction and process gaps, providing clear information to support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
  • Support evaluation and documentation of rework for assemblies, including product returns, in compliance with Quality System requirements.
  • Perform inspections on sheet metal components and assemblies, including first article inspections, using appropriate measurement tools.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement instruments to verify that parts and assemblies meet specified requirements.
  • Apply intermediate-level Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles during inspection and record accurate measurement data.
  • Work with Material Review Board (MRB) processes and nonconformance management systems to ensure timely and accurate resolution of quality issues.
  • Enter, review, and maintain inspection and quality data in electronic ERP systems and inspection management systems, ensuring data integrity.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel for communication, data entry, and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify, document, and communicate quality issues clearly.
  • Ability to maintain accurate training and quality documentation in alignment with Quality System requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of materials, manufacturing technologies, and production processes.
  • Experience working with electronic ERP systems for managing production and quality data.
  • Familiarity with inspection management systems for recording and tracking inspection results.
  • Experience documenting process deviations, in-process changes, and quality alerts.
  • Experience in supporting line validations, including collection of objective evidence and documentation of results.

  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify process gaps and contribute to quality and process enhancements.
